My approach to photographing a wedding is collaborative - built on trust, guided by your priorities, and focused on what matters most to you. I love getting to know my couples a little before the day, so you can feel at ease with me and I can understand what you truly care about.
Couples Portraits
I aim to get the balance between offering a bit of gentle direction and also just encouraging you to be yourselves and not over think it! Portraits are usually captured across two short sessions, around 15 minutes long. They’re always relaxed - often just a walk together, giving you a chance to step away from your guests for a moment and take in the day so far in beautiful surroundings. Light and landscape play a big part in how I approach portraits, so the second session is often timed to catch golden hour, with the first happening at some point during the drinks reception.
